Our guests can select from a number of dining experiences , either indoor or outdoor. For the fourth year in a row, our 800 selection wine list wine list, presented by Wine Director/Sommelier Ricardo Roux, has received the Wine Spectator Best of Awards of Excellence – the “two Michelin stars” of the restaurant wine world. The wine list includes 60 wines by-the-glass produced in the Franschhoek Valley and is a realization of a fifteen-year-old vision to create a selection of the highest possible standards and quality. More than 18,000 bottles, matured in our professionally maintained cellars, represents the very best from the world-renowned estates and vineyards of the Western Cape, together with a selection of big bottles and wines from top international producers.

Al fresco seating under our umbrellas upfront will allow you to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Franschhoek’s retail district, or should you choose indoors, we will ensure your comfort with air-conditioning in Summer and a cosy, crackling wood fire in Winter.

The two levels of the restaurant include our downstairs dining area as well as the quieter loft space above, which accommodates our wine bar, as well as an outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful Franschhoek mountains – an exquisite view for sundowners.

Small, intimate celebrations and boutique functions are welcomed in our Vintage Room downstairs (seating up to 8 guests and adjacent to our exclusively stocked wine cellar), as well as private bookings available in the loft bar and/or our upstairs patio. The rich cultural history of Franschhoek lends a magical and “old world” charm to all functions we host and many celebrations have added Franschhoek Magic to the moment.
